Ageing Well Festival 2024

This year’s Ageing Well Festival will run from 27th September to 11th October. The theme is Places to Go. People to See. Things to Do. and was decided in collaboration with our Lived Experience Advisory Group.

The Ageing Well Brighton and Hove annual festival provides opportunities for people aged 50 and over to explore new experiences and meet new people. The festival is a celebration of Brighton and Hove as a City in which to age well, to highlight the many activities that help reduce isolation and increase well-being in the older population.

Age & Dementia Friendly, Brighton & Hove

We want to make Brighton & Hove a great place for everyone to age well. A city where older people, people living with dementia and their loved ones are valued and have the opportunities and support to keep doing the things they enjoy.

Ageing Well Activities

Ageing Well Partners run a variety of groups and activities across Brighton and Hove. Check out our timetable of Ageing Well groups to find options based on your interests, the area of the city you live in, and day of the week you want to do an activity.

Age of Engagement Conference

The Age of Engagement Conference, hosted by Impact Initiatives and the Ageing Well partners, in collaboration with Brighton and Hove City Council took place on 13th June 2024. This was an opportunity to explore the essence of Service-Shaping for our ageing population. Building on the triumph of last year’s event, The Age of Wisdom, this year’s conference aimed to champion co-production and community driven solutions.
