What’s Available

Ageing Well offers a range of information, activities and support across the City for people aged 50+. All our activities aim to help you stay connected and improve your sense of wellbeing.

Activities & Groups

Aerobics to Yoga or something more sedate such as a discussion group or coffee meet up, knit and natter or learning a new skill there is something for everyone.


Across the City there are volunteers who are trained & vetted to provide friendship & company, go for a walk, visit a cafe or to help you find activities you would like.

Dementia Support

All Ageing Well services are inclusive of people living with dementia and we also offer specific services and activities to enable you to live better for longer.

Eating Well

Through groups and 1-1 support we’re here to help you understand how your nutritional needs will change and what you can do to maintain your health and wellbeing.

Information & Advice

Whether it’s finance, care, how to find your next home, healthy eating advice or concerns about dementia we can provide the information and advice you need.

LGBT+ Groups

All our services and activities are welcoming to all, however we recognise that at times people prefer to meet with other LGBT+ people.

Multicultural Groups

All our services and activities are welcoming to all. In addition we also offer culturally specific activities for older people from ethnic minority backgrounds.

Strength & Balance

As we get older our muscle strength and balance reduces, and this increases our risk of having a life-changing fall. The good news is that we can reduce this risk.
