Eating Well

Eating Well

Weight loss and frailty are not an inevitable part of ageing but it can happen, luckily undernutrition can be prevented.
Through groups and 1-1 support we’re here to help you understand how your nutritional needs will change and what you can do to maintain your health and wellbeing. Please do call us if you would like to talk to us about anything food related. We can advise on aspects of maintaining healthy nutrition, give you recipes and help you arrange food or meal deliveries as well as linking you in to other services and activities.

George, Age 88

Having been stuck in the house for a week, I had already lost my appetite and was feeling low on energy. Ageing Well gave me some advice and recipes which were really helpful. We now have a weekly phone call to check in so I can ask any questions, I have more energy and spend less time cooking but cook better meals which I enjoy.
